The Botanical
Chamomile, without the cardboard.
The familiar tea-bag version of chamomile rarely shows what the flower can actually do. Whole flowers produce something altogether different: fragrant, softly sweet and almost apple-like, with a finish that feels round rather than dusty.
Camomille Couture begins there. One central ingredient, interfered with as little as possible.
Origin
Beni Suef, Egypt.
Our chamomile is grown in the Nile-fed fields of Beni Suef, where long, dry days concentrate the blossoms’ natural sugars. Flowers are harvested whole, dried slowly and sorted by hand before they reach the tin.
